Jalsen Santana

Award-winning Dominican Director, Screenwriter and Producer born in Santo Domingo, graduated from The London Film School in 2001. Pioneer in the area of film co-productions in her country, having made co-productions with Spain, France, Puerto Rico, Haiti, among others. Co-founder of ADOCINE (Dominican Association of Film Industry Professionals). Three of her feature films have been selected to represent the Dominican Republic at the Oscars. In February 2020 she was awarded the Medal of Cinematographic Merit, becoming the first woman in the Dominican Republic to receive such distinction. Her work has been characterized as a constant exploration of the Caribbean identity within the Latin context and for her firm belief in the potential these stories have to be of global impact.

Versatile Dominican Actor, Producer and Musician, he is currently one of the most sought actors in the Dominican Republic due to his powerfull screen presence and trajectory of over 40 feature films. Santana won La Silla Awards as Actor of the Year for his role of “El Puchy” in LA GUNGUNA (2015), Best Actor of the Year at Soberano Awards 2017 for his leading role in the film CUENTAS POR COBRAR (2016) by director Ronni Castillo, among other acknowledgements and numerous nominations. He has produced several films with companies in Mexico, Panamá, Perú and Spain. His aim is to bring Dominican Cinema to broader audiences. Santana is definitely one of the pioneers exploring alternative windows of distribution for local films, having various success stories in unexplored countries such as Perú and Mexico.

Carlos Tonos

Originally he is a comic book artist, from an early age he showed a great passion for illustrations and graphic design. After extensive experience in various companies such as McCann-Erickson, Swiche Machete, Bululú Films, Claudio Chea Films, etc. He decided to found CARTON Comics Dominicana, a company dedicated to the realization of graphic projects and comics that contribute to improving the educational level and awareness of the Dominican society in general. Currently he has transferred this passion of telling stories in images to the cinema, this multifaceted professional has worked in all areas of audiovisual production, which makes him the ideal person to carry out the logistical and technical monitoring of all the projects of the company in its different stages, as well as providing the necessary creative support.

Leticia Brea

Graduated in Film Production at the International School of Film and TV of Cuba (EICTV) and a degree in Social Communication. Winner of the call "Nuevas Miradas" Guadalajara Film Festival with the feature film ¨Opera Prima¨, she has also participated in the Talent Campus and Doculab of this festival and was a guest of honor at the Hayah Film Festival in Panama, 2011. Postgraduate in documentary production at the University of Salford, Media City carried out at the BBC facilities in England, where she directed and produced her documentary ¨English Dream¨. Her forte is the hunt for all kinds of talent that provide a global appeal to projects, she has worked with Spanish director Benito Zambrano, actors Carmen Villalobos, Alejo Sauras, William Levy, Marc Clotet, Susana Dosamantes, Jimmy Jean Louis, among others, as well as with the multi-award-winning Mexican director Francisco Vargas.
